London, Ontario - October 27, 2007 - Mutual Concept Computer Group Inc. (MCCG) and Germania Farmers’ Mutual Insurance Company (GFM) are proud to jointly announce the launch of MCCG's next generation Insurance Back Office System (IBS 5) at Germania Farmers’ Mutual Insurance.
Germania Mutual is now running its daily and monthly ‘back office’ business processes through IBS 5, which encompasses core business functions including accounting, statistical reporting, underwriting and claims management. As of October 31st, IBS 5 will be the sole Insurance Back Office product utilized by Germania Mutual.
Germania Mutual has taken a leadership role in working with MCCG to implement the IBS 5 product for its business. Mr. Dan Hill, General Manager, Ms. Tracy Campbell, Underwriting Supervisor/IT Coordinator and Ms. Sharon Hollister, Deputy Treasurer, formed the nucleus of GFM’s project team, and with the assistance and efforts of their entire organization, along with a lot of hard work, achieved this success.
“Our staff is very pleased with the capabilities of the new IBS 5 system and the quality of the converted data that we were able to capture from our existing system and subsequently transfer to the new system. Both our management and staff anxiously look forward to watching the MCCG system evolve into a state of the art management system over the next couple of years” says Dan Hill, GM of Germania Mutual.
IBS 5 is MCCG's next generation Insurance Back Office System, leveraging leading technologies and an adaptable architecture to provide considerable flexibility and a competitive advantage for its customers. “I am pleased to have Germania Farmers’ Mutual as the first of thirty-three companies that have chosen to implement the IBS 5 product. Germania's efforts and input during the initial launch phase of IBS 5 has provided invaluable feedback which will improve the experience for those companies that follow. I would also like to extend a thank-you to the staff and management at MCCG who have worked extremely hard to deliver a comprehensive and extensible platform that will allow MCCG to provide significant competitive advantages for its clients.” says Frank Barretto, CEO of MCCG.
