Mutual Concept Computer Group Inc. (MCCG) is pleased to announce that a Strategic Partnership has been established with BizXcel Inc. to enhance the Business Intelligence capabilities for Mutual Insurance Companies.
London, Ontario & Brockville, Ontario – June, 2018 – Mutual Concept Computer Group Inc. (MCCG) has entered into a strategic partnership with BizXcel Inc., a Qlik Solution Provider with a certification in insurance specialization, for the purpose of introducing additional Business Intelligence solutions for Mutual Insurance companies. Through this partnership BizXcel is providing ‘ready to go’ insurance templates for Qlik Sense® that access the Insurance Business Solution (IBS®) from MCCG and provide mutual insurers with increased reporting and insights from their data. The first solution that will be introduced is the Qlik Sense® tool for data visualization, data discovery and analysis. The partnership will provide further development, integration points and opportunities as MCCG delivers its next generation solution.
“Our teams have been collaborating for many years both directly through our clients and more indirectly through the work that BizXcel has been doing for the Ontario Mutual Insurance Association (OMIA). This has provided great benefit for the insurance community and has also established some very strong working relationships. It was a smart, strategic move for us to partner and expand the benefits we can deliver to our Mutual community. Using a consistent and standard approach with a trusted vendor saves our mutual money, speeds up delivery and simplifies the implementation and product adoption. The use of open and standards-based toolsets coupled with the introduction of Application Programming Interfaces for data retrieval will make our integration points seamless for our clients. We’re looking forward to a long-lasting relationship with BizXcel and we’re looking forward to rolling out key functionality throughout 2018 and 2019 for our Mutual community,” stated Randy Straeten, CEO of MCCG.
“We’ve worked with the Mutuals, MCCG and OMIA for many years on a multitude of initiatives including strategic planning, team building, statistical reporting, data governance and data analytics. The Mutuals are a great Canadian business model and MCCG’s Mutual insurance software model is unique within the industry. We developed an Insurance Template using the Qlik Sense® product that is providing deeper enterprise insights in four main areas including Governance, Operations, Agent & Broker Performance, and Workflow. This simplifies the reporting process, provides access to dashboards of metrics, allows for evidence-based decision making and supports meaningful conversations. Pushing these efficiencies out to the Mutual community and working collaboratively with MCCG will help maintain and extend the power of these analytic tools as MCCG delivers their next generation solution,” says Robert Stickle, Chief Operating Officer for BizXcel.
